I decided to give my home a facelift by replacing all my windows and my patio doors so I called Caledonian for a quote.

My initial appointment with Jason was very relaxed. He asked me what I was looking for and we took it from there. He also advised me on what I would need to have installed to comply with building regulations.

The price was very competitive and I was given a free upgrade to ‘A-Rated’ windows so I knew I would be getting good quality products. It was not the cheapest price I had received but it seemed the best value for money as Caledonian was the most professional company to deal with.

I visited Caledonian’s spacious showroom in Ayr where I viewed all products that I would be having installed. The showroom has a classic style Rock door which is the door I decided to go for. It was great being able to see the exact door I wanted in situe.

We have had Rehau windows installed which we also had fitted in our extension a number of years ago so we knew this was the best profile to have fitted as we never had any problems with them. The windows even have a locking point where we can ventilate them making them secure enough to lock the windows in this position.

We received a very competitive quote from Jason at Caledonian. So much so that three of my neighbours decided to ask Jason to quote for their replacement windows and doors also. All three neighbours went ahead with their quotes and have had the work done by Caledonian.

We had 2 extremely large panes of glass which had to be manually lifted in, they always found a solution and I can say from start to finish, everyone was a pleasure to deal with. The installation was quick, quiet, and impressively tidy. The fitters were professional throughout—laying down sheets each day and cleaning up thoroughly before they left.   A replacement conservatory is no small consideration. This was particularly true for Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club, when its extensive sea facing Clubhouse conservatory, that had served its members well for 30 years, reached the end of its lifespan. Following a  tender process, Caledonian Windows and Conservatories Ltd were selected as our preferred contractor for the replacement, on the basis of their technical understanding, accomplished track record and overall value for money. The Club is delighted that they were appointed. Throughout the entire process, from consultancy to installation, Caledonian delivered. Their installation crew were extremely knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating.  Storm Eowyn decided to hit the Ayrshire coastline during the works but, despite the extremely exposed site and incomplete installation, everything passed this most extreme of tests. We now have, not only a new conservatory, but one that exploits all the amazing vistas the Clubhouse is fortunate enough to enjoy. Caledonian  Windows have been magnificent from day one and I am confident our new Clubhouse asset will serve its members beautifully for many years to come.
